We are now recruiting a Financial Analyst to support Liquid Wind in becoming a world leader in fossil-free fuel, and this could be the opportunity for you!The world rapidly needs to electrify to replace fossil fuels on a massive scale. The hard-to-abate sectors like shipping, aviation and heavy land transport cannot be electrified with battery power and require a different type of electrification: Electrofuel made from renewable electricity and biogenic CO2.Our business model is designed for scale, and we have a solid pipeline of projects in development in the Nordic countries with the goal of reaching Final Investment Decision (FID) for reaching more than 10 projects by 2027. We have a strong group of investors, including Alfa Laval, Carbon Clean, Elyse Energy, HyCap, Siemens Energy, Topsoe and Uniper.Liquid Wind is a fast-growing company, headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden and with a presence in Denmark, Finland and the UK. We have approx. 75 employees and are looking for a person that enjoys developing and growing together with the company.The location for this position is preferably in Denmark, in the Copenhagen area. Sweden is also a possible location.ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our investment team at Liquid Wind. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining financial models for our SPVs and project portfolio, supporting various financial analyses, and possible also assisting with business case development for new initiatives. You will also be expected to present models confidently to both internal stakeholders and potential investors. We are looking for someone capable of conducting a variety of analyses, as this is a broad and multifaceted position.
Additionally, you will provide input and support for grant applications and general assistance to various work streams within the Investment team and across Liquid Wind.You will work closely with the Financial Analysis Manager on day-to-day operations, while reporting to our CIO.Your main tasks will be:
- Creation and maintenance of comprehensive financial models and forecasts
- Conduct financial support to projects and analysis of project effects
- Present financial insights to investors and financial stakeholders
- Provide input for financial sections in grant applications and investor memoranda
About youWe believe that you are a person who identify yourself as proactive and detail oriented.
You have the ability work both independently and collaboratively with various departments, you have a structured approach to tasks and responsibilities and your strong interpersonal skills enable you to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds. You maintain a positive attitude and a problem-solving mindset.
- You have a post-secondary education in economics or finance, with at least a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualifications
- You have a minimum of 2-3 years of relevant financial experience
- We are seeking a candidate with excellent skills in the Microsoft Office suite such as Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications include as mentioned above experience in consulting, the financial sector or from a similar role, as well as experience in VBA programming.The company language is English, and preferably you understand and speak Swedish and/or Danish.We offer you
