Job description
Our partner in the asset management field is looking for a Financial Analyst with background in the investment, accounting or reporting areas.The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records, troubleshoot cash payment discrepancies, and maintain data integrity in the core accounting system.Preparing journal entries to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records
Monthly General Ledger reconciliations
Extracting financial and attribute data from the core accounting system to troubleshoot and resolve cash payment discrepancies
Verifying the accuracy of compiled information using accounting and investment knowledge
Ensuring core system integrity and data quality in accordance with accounting policies and procedures
Conducting daily reviews of activity processing results and address questions regarding accounting results
Keeping active contact with internal departments, vendors and stakeholders to resolve process exception
Troubleshooting and resolving discrepancies in the system
Being involved in process improvement and testing projects
Assisting with projects involving data comparisons between production and test environmentsElvárások / RequirementsQualifications:College Degree (preferably in Business, Accounting, Finance or similar field)
Minimum of 3 years of experience in finance / accounting and reconciliation functions
At least strong intermediate English
Strong user level Excel and MS Office
Knowledge of accounting practices, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations.
Understanding of investment products such as bonds, mortgage loans, and derivatives
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Customer-oriented with a collaborative problem-solving approach
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task, and work effectively both individually and within a team.
Experience with investment accounting is a plus
Process improvement experience is a plus
Strong analytical mindset
