Housekeeping Office Assistant – Part time 20 hours per week

We are seeking to appoint a part time Housekeeping Office Assistant. This is an exciting new role within the team and a great opportunity for someone looking to support the operations of the College both in term time for students and during vacation conference periods.

The successful candidate will be somebody who is a strong communicator with good attention to detail and proven experience in a complex administrative role combined with excellent organisational skills. You will need excellent IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and have the ability to use databases as well as being self-motivated and a good team player. Previous experience in an office environment would be beneficial.
Some areas of responsibility will be:
•    Supporting the team with the ordering of materials
•    Monitor and update the paperless purchase order system, reconcile delivery notes, process invoices
•    Contacting suppliers and contractors to arrange works
•    Process sickness forms and new starter paperwork
•    Scanning and archiving old and new records
•    Answering the phone and dealing with general queries
