A family-owned company, world leader in bio-technologies, is looking for a Logistic Assistant for
a six-month period.During a major transformation project, this Brussels-based company needs
support to improve its logistics processes and stock management. Are you solution-oriented,
thoughtful and meticulous? Read on!The Logistic Assistant will be responsible for:

• Support monitoring and coordination with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely

and accurate delivery of goods.

• Track and report on the performance of logistics providers, identifying areas for

improvement.

• Assist in managing the local stock of spare parts.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and reconcile discrepancies.
• Support the supply chain and service teams in daily operations (equipment shipment,

returns).

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and customer

satisfaction.

• Assist in resolving any logistics-related issues that may arise.

Profile of ideal Logistic Assistant:

• You have a Bachelor or Master in business, supply chain or logistics, or equivalent via

past experience

• You have strong organisational and time management skills.
• You are solution-minded, analytical and meticulous
• You have problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• You have a good level of proficiency in ERP (SAP), and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel,

Word, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• English proficiency is compulsory; knowledge of Dutch and/or French will be considered
