The main role is to assist the team through:

  • supporting the production of pricing analytics, contract pricing and modelling, portfolio analysis, and process improvement leveraging the latest technology, tools and methodologies
  • represent the team in global projects at the forefront of technical innovation in portfolio pricing and modelling and management reporting

The jobholder will have strong technical interest, an analytical mindset and good communication skills.

  • Participate in big data projects across the Team; model evaluation, sensitivity testing and calibration studies 
  • Work closely with underwriters, underwriting management and other members of the actuarial pricing team to develop future KPI metrics and to develop and maintain appropriate pricing benchmarks, methods and tools. 
  • Evaluate premium, exposure and loss data and provide technical pricing indications 
  • Independently structure and complete complex analyses for Pricing & Modelling
  • Assist in the review of (re)insurance parameters and economic assumptions used for Pricing and Modelling

Required qualification

  • Studying towards a degree (Bachelor, Master 1 or Master 2) in a quantitative discipline (Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Data Science) 
  • Pursuit of an Actuarial qualification or an Engineer qualification is a plus
  • Good English verbal and written

Nice to haves :

  • Some knowledge of (Re)Insurance
  • Excel and the ability to manipulate and format data sets
  • VBA, SQL, GIS, Python, R, Git, Access,Tableau
