Location: Aston University Main CampusTo further enhance and strengthen our research and teaching portfolio, in line with our strategic objectives, Aston Law School, a department within the School of Law and Social Sciences, wishes to appoint a Professor of Law. The Professor will provide exceptional strategic leadership of research and scholarship in the Department and will lead the development of our growing research environment. This appointment will nurture the subject group’s research towards future independent submissions to the Research Excellence Framework. We welcome applications from those with excellent teaching and research across all areas of law.Candidates will be expected to demonstrate an excellent international research profile, a track record of external grant capture and/or impact, experience in academic leadership and collaborative management, and a commitment to collegiality, inclusivity and the development of early career researchers. They will be committed to delivering excellent and innovative teaching, and be motivated to provide the very best experience for students. Any subject specialism will be considered.
