Role: Security Service and Installation EngineerLocation: LondonSalary: £40,000 – £43,000 per annumTechnical Resources are recruiting for a Security Service and Installation Engineer in London. As a Security Service and Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and servicing security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems, while working on commercial properties across the region.Responsibilities:

  • Installation, maintenance, and servicing of security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV, and access control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve faults on a variety of security systems.
  • Conduct site surveys and ensure all work complies with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to clients.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping of work completed.

Experience and Certifications Required:

  • Proven experience as a Security Engineer (minimum of 2 years preferred).
  • Proficiency with leading security systems and manufacturers (e.g., Texecom, Hikvision, Paxton, etc.).
  • Knowledge of British Standards and compliance requirements for security systems.
  • Full UK driving licence (Essential).
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in security systems (Desirable).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
