The Position                                                                                                                                                         

Your primary responsibility includes both the Marketing and Sales of Diabetes within Türkiye.  The purpose of the role is to lead and execute the Diabetes strategy by creating awareness of Novo Nordisk in the market.  

This position will report to the Vice President and General Manager, Türkiye and be an integral member of leadership team.  You will manage a team of 7 directly and lead the sales force of 100.

You will act as a change agent by driving business and sales strategies. Based in dynamic Türkiye, you will have the opportunity to flourish in a fast-paced ever-evolving and transforming environment.

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

-Developing and implementing strategic plans to drive sales growth in the diabetes market within an ambiguous environment.
-Leading and overseeing the sales team, providing guidance, motivation, and support to achieve sales targets and personal growth.
-Identifying market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt strategies to the dynamic environment.
-Fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship within the team to explore new opportunities and drive business growth.
-Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and operations to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales strategies and monitoring key performance indicators to track sales performance and make data-driven decisions.
-Developing strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, distributors, and industry partners. Staying updated on industry regulations, healthcare policies, and technological advancements related to diabetes care.
 

Qualifications

-Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. An MBA is a plus. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and Turkish
-Proven experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry with a focus on diabetes products. Preferably with an understanding of the diabetes market landscape, including market dynamics and driving positioning.
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills and demonstrated ability to flourish in ambiguous and challenging market environments.
-Strong business acumen with a track record of driving sales growth and achieving targets with entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve outstanding results.
