Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?

Your focus will be on one of our key strategic brands where you will be responsible for developing the medical strategy. You will be driving the scientific dialogue, secure effective collaboration and communication with external experts while maintaining a solid collaboration with internal stakeholders from affiliates, Marketing, Market Access, Clinical Development and Value Evidence. It is a great chance to work alongside dedicated colleagues who support the development of innovative treatments that improve the lives of people living with brain diseases.

Your future team

high performing
team of 11 colleagues who take pride in developing
international medical activities for our psychiatry products and related disease areas. Our culture is characterized by trust, respect and inclusion, supportive leadership, recognition and appreciation. We are enthusiastic about what we do, and we also make time to have fun together.

The team is responsible for all international medical activities for our psychiatry products, including (1) leading the development of the scientific communication strategy, and driving evidence generation strategies and publication plans; (2) conducting advisory meetings with medical experts, symposia at conferences, and disease and product training; (3) reviewing promotional materials and regulatory documents; and (4) supporting affiliates and other functions in Lundbeck in our joint effort to address patient needs (5) assessing the opportunity for new business development assets.

The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, but flexibility like working from home when relevant is provided. You will be reporting to the Medical Director, MSC Psychiatry, and you are expected to travel about 20-30 days per year to cover meetings and international congresses.

What you bring to the team

– You preferably hold an advanced academic degree in natural sciences (MD or PhD)
-You have two to five years of industry experience from medical affairs/drug development at a biotech or pharmaceutical company – preferred but not a requirement
-You have experience from psychiatry research or clinical practice

In addition, you are a strong collaborator, used to drive projects from start to end with focus on deadlines, and you truly enjoy strategic thinking and tactical planning. You have analytical skills and can prioritize effectively in a dynamic and at times hectic environment. You are motivated by applying and further developing expertise to achieve the goals and are fluent in English and can communicate effectively internally and externally.

As you will be creating new medical materials as well as reviewing promotional materials, it is critical for your role to ensure compliance to industry codes and regulations.
