Position: Project Engineer

Company Overview: Join our team at a leading company dedicated to manufacturing excellence, poised for significant growth in the Rechargeable Battery Material business. With a vision set for 2030, we’re expanding our manufacturing facilities and related structures to accommodate this growth. As a Project Engineer, you’ll play a pivotal role in executing these expansion projects, contributing directly to our capacity increase and the overall success of our company.

Location: North of Spain (exact location to be disclosed in early July)
Contract Type: Long-term contract
Start Date: Targeting around 1st August

Responsibilities:

* Support the planning, design, and construction of manufacturing facilities, ensuring adherence to specifications, resource management, and structural integrity.
* Coordinate with project management, EPCm companies, and contractors for successful implementation of new assets until commissioning and handover.
* Prepare, revise, and approve technical documentation for project design phases, ensuring adherence to standards and cost-effective solutions.
* Manage procurement processes for specific components and works, screening bids and controlling costs.
* Supervise construction, installation, and commissioning of assigned projects, ensuring timely and safe execution.
* Collaborate with other engineering teams to integrate work into final project solutions, meeting deadlines and production requirements.
* Propose and implement improvements in procedures, technologies, and productivity.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, health & safety regulations and codes of practice.
* Manage onsite vendors & contractors, analyzing risks and recommending mitigation measures.
* Provide technical support during commissioning and internal qualification of equipment.
* Support internal and external audits and gather user feedback for continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Technical Profile:

* University degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation/Automation preferred).
* Technical experience in executing engineering projects in industrial environments.
* Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCad).
* Knowledge of EHS standards, industry practices, and legal requirements.
* Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and verbal.
* Proficient in MS Office.

Additional Details:

* Remote work until EOY 2024, then onsite presence required.
* Business travel reimbursed outside Spain.
* Official confirmation and contract creation in early July.
* Market-level rates for Spain, no expenses accepted.
