Join Our Team as a Service Controller
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support the Depot Manager in running an efficient, customer-focused, and profitable workshop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration and planning skills who enjoys working in a busy environment and liaising with both customers and technicians. 

Key Responsibilities of the Service Controller

– Raise job cards, estimates, and invoices while keeping all job statuses updated accurately and on time.
– Plan and schedule workshop workloads to ensure customer requirements are met.
– Maintain service schedules for all customers and provide updates, approvals, and completion details.
– Liaise closely with the workshop team to monitor times booked, order parts, and ensure everything is ready for each job.
– Process purchase orders and support with general workshop administration.
– Ensure site standards are upheld – including tidiness, equipment maintenance, and security.
– Promote and maintain Health & Safety practices across the depot.
– Provide support to the Depot Manager with any additional reasonable duties.

Experience required for the Service Controller

– Previous experience within this role or similar within a commercial vehicle workshop environment
– Good technical knowledge of HGV’s
– Any qualifications in HGV’s would be an added bonus
