The Position

As our Supply Planning Advisor, you will be responsible for managing supply planning activities across Italy and Malta, in close cross-functional collaboration with finance, marketing, sales, external affairs, regulatory and regional office. The main purpose is to secure timely and balanced supply of Novo Nordisk products for affiliates under responsibility. The position reports to the Head of Supply Chain and Procurement.

Furthermore, you will:

-Review and optimise stock levels to secure no stock out situation, inventory policy and key supply parameters, e.g., safety stocks, MOQs, etc. and ensure adequate local supply to all customers.
-Drive implementation and execution of affiliate S&OE process, ensuring seamless integration with region.
-Secure timely and adequate stock replenishment by monitoring MRP & ROP orders and manage stock expiration, minimizing scrapping especially on launch orders, high value and slow runner products.
-Proactively generate smart business updates and supporting data-driven decisions.
-Lead process improvement projects for streamlining supply planning processes, support other supply chain optimization projects and digitalization initiatives.
 

Qualifications

To be successful for this position, you possess solid analytical skills, stakeholder management, and have experience in Supply Planning in international environment

In addition, you have:

-Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or any related field
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, supply planning, inventory and project management
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and complex environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse large amounts of data and make decisions.
-Strong stakeholder management skills, as well as experience in working with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams.
-Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP systems. Experience in OMP demand planning module preferred.
-Strong communication and meeting facilitation skills.
-Fluency in English both written and spoken.
