Your Mission

As part of the sales team, the Technical Account Manager (TAM) will lead industry focused, consultative and valuable software sales engagements through business relationships with customers, other industry leaders and 3rd parties. Using appropriate methods, TAM leads the development and execution of financially quantified value propositions, business cases and solution visions specific to a customer and provide input a cohesive customer sales strategy, to support the sale of software and services.

TAM role will lead the development of strategic customer relationships through face-to-face contact and site visits to facilitate future software sales; and work on projects/assignments of complex scope. They provide guidance and mentoring within zone to others on the capabilities and business value of a solution domain.

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted advisor status through knowledgeable communication on business challenges, industry trends, and competitor landscapes. Deliver thought leadership, articulating Siemens SISW’s vision for a competitive advantage.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their business strategy, developing a vision and business case. Address identified business pain, using SISW technology as a business enabler. Partner with Pre-Sales Solution Architect and Sales representative.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements, assessing prospects’ business conditions and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Collaborate with the Service Engagement Team and Sales to find opportunities for expanding the software footprint. Actively support software business closure.
  • Contribute to project meetings for successful handover and transition. Develop customer relationships for implementation success.
  • Develop and deliver presentations on solution domains to communicate SISW capabilities in Awareness and Marketing Events. Examples include Exhibitions, Customer Days, Road shows, User Conferences, Product Launches
  • Bridge technical support and the sales team. Symbolize technical continuity, managing projects in front of the customer.

The keys to your success

  • Aeronautical / Engineering / Science background
  • Preferably at least 8 years of experience in an aeronautical engineering/manufacturing environment
  • In-depth knowledge of Siemens portfolio and technologies in aerospace and defense; able to communicate technical activities effectively.
  • Identify and address future challenges of customers, collaborating on digitalizing their processes engaging with our solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills in French and English
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and collaboration with sales teams
  • Logical problem-solving, strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proven ability to foster collaboration across global sites in EMEA.
