Job Purpose:

As part of the neuromuscular research team at Ulster University, the successful applicant will join an exciting new industry-funded project to develop biomarkers and therapeutics for a range of neuromuscular and neurodegenerative conditions.

The post holder will be fully dedicated to the provision of technical support to the neuromuscular research team. This will include the performance of experimental investigation and analysis, the installation and configuring of new equipment, and the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues/problems.  Experimental investigations may include cell and tissue culture, a range of molecular biology assays, and assistance to in vivo experiments.
